Pattern Description:

RD2019 The Cube Purse is a pattern developed from my best selling Recycled Uniform purse design, The Cube. The pattern includes rotary cutting directions and details & tips for working with a military uniform. The purse finishes about 9.5" square and sports 4 drop-in pockets as well as a zipper pocket. It has a magnet clasp closure and a ribbon closure. One size. Intermediate skill level.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 9 1/2" square on all sides


  • 1 1/4 yard Fabric A 2/3 yard Fabric B -OR- 1 Layer Cake instead of A & B {40 Squares measuring 10" each will yield 2 bags) 1 Crib size batting, 1/8" thick

  • Size 14 Machine Sewing Needle Magnet Clasp 3/4" diameter 9" zipper, plastic, non separating Zipper foot (sewing machine presser foot attachment) Hand sewing needle Rotary Cutting Mat Quilter's Rotary Cutting Ruler Rotary Cutter Blade tool
