That Shoulder Bag

from GourmetQuilter.com
(9) Name: 'Sewing : That Shoulder Bag
That Shoulder Bag

Basic Skills Necessary:

  • You should know how to use your sewing machine and how to quilt, or stitch three layers together

Pattern Description:

I love the look of back-pack style bags but find putting two straps on is one too many! So I thought a back-pack style bag with only one strap, for one shoulder, would be a good idea, and I love it! It has a draw-string closure at the top and an adjustable length strap. It is comfortable to wear and useful too! As well as all that, it looks great and would be a great way to show-case some fabric with a large design.
The pattern describes how to make and quilt the strap, make the loops for the cord to travel through and make an adjustable strap. Just what you need, and one for a friend!
