Just purchased this pattern...looks cute, fun and easy...but it does not say exactly what type of cotton, (heaviness) and interfacing what kind? Also when I looked at this before I saw comments that stated some inserted cardboard to make it stiffer and other helpful tips/hints as well...Now cannot find them?

I used a regular quilting cotton and a fairly firm interfacing - Decor Bond. I think adding cardboard would make it too stiff and thick and make it difficult to get the cards in and out.

I would try to use the DECOVIL interfacing.
I've already used this for my other bags.
To turn the simple wallet
should be ironed and still warm sooner turned, so it is soft.
I will keep you updated.
