Pattern Description:

You will love how open and spacious that bag is inside. It holds a lot and everything is easy to find!

Learn how to make an easy "snap flap" to hold your things inside. The two flaps overlap and snap together.

This pattern doesn't skimp on the fun, finishing details such as the handle loops, topstitching and plenty of interior pockets to keep you organized.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Approx. 14-1/2" H x 12" W at base (19" at widest point) x 5" D


  • Fabric (42-44" wide cotton quilting fabric, linens or light decorator fabrics
  • 2/3 yard main fabric
  • 1/3 yard for upper exterior
  • 1/2 yard for upper lining, snap flap and liking pockets
  • 1/2 yard for lower lining
  • Interfacing:
  • 2-2/3 yards of medium weight woven fusible interfacing such as Pellon SF101
  • 1/3 yard firm fusible interfacing such as Pellon decor bond
  • 1-1/8 yards of nonfusible extra firm stabilizer uch as Pellon 926
  • 2 strips of lightweight batting or felt for handles

You Will Also Need:

  • 2 magnetic snap closure sets
  • Rotary cutter, mat and ruler
  • Fabric marking pen
  • Thread
