Pattern Description:

Make a handy zippered pouch with this PDF sewing pattern from A Spoonful of Sugar. This sweet little pouch is perfectly sized to hold make up other supplies. It is easily made from small pieces of fabric and can be customised with ribbon and trim.

The Parisian can be made from three fat eighths of quilting cotton. The Parisian measures 71/2 x 4 1/2 inches.

You will receive an 8 page epattern in PDF format with tutorial-style instructions, full color photographs, and to scale pattern pieces (no need to enlarge, just print and sew!). PDF format allows you to print and reprint the instructions or pattern pieces whenever you need. You may wish to save paper and print only the pattern pieces! PDF allows you to zoom in on photos to see each step up close.

This pattern is suitable for intermediate sewers and can be easily made in an afternoon.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 7 1/2 x 4 1/2 inches, excluding the strap

Materials:

  • 3 fat 1/8's of quilting fabric (18 x 11 inches)
  • fat 1/8 of fusible wadding
  • 12 inch length of ribbon or trim (1/2 inch wide)
  • 7 inch zipper
