Pattern Description:

Make a super fun and useful owl pencil case! Extra large size makes it useful for travel too.

Includes very detailed instructions. This is a nice pattern for people just learning how to sew zippers.

Plenty big enough for pencils and assorted other supplies.
(My hubby even used one for his 7" Kindle on a trip.)

Fabric Required:
Beak: 2" x 3 1/4"
Forehead/Chin: both pieces fit on 5" x 13" if non-directional fabric design OR 5" x 8 1/4" each piece (2 required)
Cheeks: both pieces fit on 8 1/4" x 12"
OR 8 1/4" x 6" each piece (2 required)
Back: 8" x 10 1/2"
Lining Fabric: 8" x 21"
Interfacing: 8" x 21" (or slightly smaller)

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 9 1/2" wide x 7 1/2" tall (24 cm x 19 cm)
