I'm almost done making this! I just have to sew a bonding around the edge...I chose to use Dick cloth rather than oil cloth.(couldn't find any I liked at the local craft store). It's looking awesome! I did alter the pattern some though. I added an extra card slot and a card slot it the back where the check book goes. I used a layer of clear vinyl to stabilize sandwiched between two layers of the outer fabric. I'll share pica ones I'm completely done..got side tracked by nods. Lol.
So sorry...auto correct....duck.....not Dick.....lol.
LOL, I was wondering about that, Alicia! Looking forward to your pictures. I bought the pattern and would like to make some as gifts but just haven't found the time yet.
I have gone through paypal twice for this project and the sale hasn't completed. The end screen says congratulations on your purchase but then the payment hasn't gone through. I would really like this pattern.
I would also like to buy this pattern but it isn't available to buy...how do I buy it?
Hi, I'm part of the Craftsy team here and I wanted to reach out and help!I apologize for the trouble and thanks for bringing this to our attention. There was an error in our system and we've since resolved this issue and you should be able to purchase this pattern now. If you're still having trouble please feel free to email me at email@example.com
Do you sell one already made?
Sorry, I do not. However, I believe there are some out in the craft community (Etsy comes to mind) who are making this very wallet to sell. You might do a look around.Good luck!
By the way, I'm 63 so it doesn't have to be for just the young'ins. :) Some of us elders do find it is easier to track our money this way too! :) It would also be good for the couponers out there!
Such a wonderful idea. I do use the envelope system. My envelopes don't "die" immediately, but eventually they do die; not to mention they get separated from each other. Love the idea. I will have to make one.
I finished sewing the wallet and now, I need to complete the envelopes.
what is the finished size of this??
I bought this and it looks wonderful. However it would be helpful if somewhere you listed the total fabric requirement (i.e. 1/2 yd, 1 yd, etc...) not just the sizes of all the pieces required.
I purchased material this weekend. I found an interesting laminated cotton that different motifs and color ways, which is really nice because I only had to buy yardage from one bolt and still got great contrast. Anyway, the bolt wasn't wide, maybe 22 inches, and I got a half yard. It was perfect. A little leftover, but not much.
I purchased the pattern, downloaded it, and now Adobe is saying that the file is damaged and that it cannot be opened. Is there something special I need to do?
Hmm. Nevermind. I saved it to my desktop instead of to Firefox and opened it from there, and it worked fine! Sorry for the false alarm. :)
I would love this, but for some reason it dosen't have an "add to cart" option = (
We'd love to order and sad that no pattern seems to be available. Is this the case? Thanks
would like to purchase but there is no option to add to cart.....
Love the pattern! We sell small pouches and checkbooks holders with the same idea, but all in one? Fantastic! If you're looking for great oilcloth, OILCLOTH ALLEY offers over 175 prints combinations. check out the site:www.oilclothalley.com
Your selection is definitely swoon worthy :)
Lovely prints at great prices - and I adore the pink and black apron, too!
Thanks for the site, great unusual patterns. I particularly like the toile.
how can i buy this pattern and get it in the mail my printer does not work at this time. nenamia37
You could email it to a friend and have her print it for you...or save the file to a memory stick and take it to your local print shop or public library and do it there.
I made this pattern and it is so amazing! People ask me about it all the time. I used laminated cotton, and it turned out great. Thanks for this wonderful alternative for the envelope system!!
Can we just purchase the wallet? If so, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
