Basic Skills Necessary:

  • If you can sew and have make a simple bag before, then this pattern is fine for you. There's detailed instructions, plenty of photos and a full-size template too.

Pattern Description:

If you're after a funky over-the-shoulder bag, then look no further! Featuring wide shoulder straps with oversize "O" ring detail, this generous sized tote also has plenty of inner pockets too to fit all your everyday essentials. It's quick and easy to make, and oh so practical too.

Show off a favourite print fabric, or keep it a classic with an understated plain colour - the choice is yours!

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Bag Dimensions are 14 inches wide at the base x 111/2 inches high (to top curve) and 4 inches deep.


  • 11/4 metres ( 11/4 yards) fabric for bag outer, 3/4 metre ( 3/4 yard) fabric for bag lining, 11/2 metres ( 11/2 yards) medium weight fusible interfacing, 1 metre ( 1 yard) light weight fusible pellon, Piece template plastic measuring 131/2 x 4 inches for base stiffening, 4 large "O" rings - ours had a 21/2 inch inner diameter, but anything from 2 - 21/2 inches would be suitable, 1 x 7 inch zip for inner zippered pocket

You Will Also Need:

  • A sewing machine, matching thread and a couple of hours to make the bag!
