Hi, my name is Maria and I'm from Bulgaria. I have an arts degree, majoring in fine art. I am mainly a painter and interior decorator, but I love sewing and designing. I've been sewing as long as I can remember. As a child dresses for my dolls, later clothes for me and my sister on my mom's sewing machine. I bought my first sewing machine more than 10 years ago. Last year I add an overlocking sewing machine to my home atelier.
On Oct 27, 2009 I opened my online shop on Etsy called DELINDA BOUTIQUE which goes pretty well lately. I started selling pillow covers and art. Later I added bags and prints. Now I found Craftsy and I'm so happy to share my ideas here!
This is a great tote bag large enough to fit all you need.
*One main compartment interior fully lined.
*Closes with zipper and magnetic snap.
*Double stitched seams are added as a final decoration.
The bag from the tutorial is made from medium weight yellow linen blend fabric. One main compartment interior is fully lined with silky fabric in olive green with embroidered circles in gold.
For the beige tote I(tm)ve chosen natural beige linen. I combined it with brown faux leather which has the appearance of real leather and the softness of suede. I used it partly for the handles.
I also added decorative beige seams and beige lace on the top center panel of the front side.
You are welcome to sell the finished items on handmade websites or local craft markets but you must credit or link to Delinda Boutique.
