The Emma Case
PDF pattern instructions to make this unique, fully lined, padded cover with side zipper pocket and handles. Beautiful yet super simple to construct case for your iPad or tablet computer!
You can opt to add a pocket on both sides of the case, or make a side zip case without the extra pocket. Easy modifictions are included in the pattern instructions.
This third pattern variation was developed when I wanted a cover that would be side-loading so I could add handles to the case. I had also had requests for an extra, separate pocket to store accessories, such as a charger cord or stand. Here it is! The handles can be made from any pretty ribbon or belting to complement your fabric selection. They are long enough to slip easily over your wrist to keep your hands free when needed.

This detailed pattern will take you step-by-step through the construction of the cover. Every step is described and a full color photograph is provided to illustrate the step. No assuptions of skill are made (other than operating your sewing machine!) and each step is brief and logically stated in large print.
I have been sewing for interiors for over 20 years and have attended numerous classes, seminars and other instructional venues. I hope that sharing my experience with you in making beautiful items for your home will give you much pleasure and lessen frustration with trying to 'figure out' how to make an item without instructions.
I also offer sewing tips and brief tutorials on my blog at www.gailadesigns.blogspot.com
