Stitch seven hexagons together to create a unique quilted bag. The Hexie Hipster is perfect for using up scraps or "fussy cutting" your favorite prints. Wear your hipster cross-body for easy access while keeping your hands free. The Hexie Hipster can be made in 2 sizes, has a magnetic snap flap closure, one interior pocket and plenty of room for your everyday things.. This pattern is part of my Make New or Make Do(tm) sewing pattern collection.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

Materials:

  • 6-7 different 1/4 yd pieces of 45" wide fabric in coordinating prints/colors
  • 1/4 yd of 45" wide fabric for Strap and Flap
  • 1/2 yd of 45" wide fabric for Lining
  • 1 yd of 20" wide woven cotton fusible interfacing
  • 1 yard of 18" wide cotton batting
  • Magnetic snap closure, 1/2" diameter
  • Decorative button (optional)
  • Coordinating thread
