Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Use a rotary cutter and quilting ruler to cut measured strips of fabric.

Pattern Description:

I created this pattern, because I wanted to have multiple colors to go with all of my clothes. I love working with fabric. What better way to get a huge variety on a budget? Make your own fabric belts! They are cute and comfortable, and they can be made any size. Best of all, they are incredibly easy to make.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Sizing is determined by you. The belt can be made any length. The width of the belt will be about 1".


  • 1/3 yd Fabric (or less)
  • 1/4 yd of 20 in. wide medium-weight fusible interfacing
  • Rotary Cutter and Cutting Mat
  • Acrylic Quilting Ruler
  • Sewing Machine
  • Iron and Board

You Will Also Need:

  • (2) 1 1/4" D rings (or buckle with slide)
  • Coordinating Thread
