Sewing has always been my hobby and my profession. I first trained as a tailor as a young girl after which I worked for some fabulous designers. To fit work around my son I became a teacher of Textiles and Product Design. When my son finished school and moved to the USA I decided to start my own business and do what I love best; draft patterns and teach beginners and advanced sewers how to make their projects look professional. I hope you enjoy my patterns and instruction. Now we followed our boy to the US and I get to sew in the beautiful Californian sunshine!View all patterns by designer (51) »
This little Spring Bag is not just a lovely present for Easter its great any time of the year.
I was totally inspired this month when I started my handbag series of new designs. Through testing a variety of techniques this just kind a came along with it. Its very simple but effective and great fun to make. I tested it with my sewing group for an Easter craft session and it worked a treat.
Sit down with your girls and make some cute bags. Even if they don't use the sewing machine yet..... they can cut, clue and stick to make this bag uniquely their own.
You'll have fun and so will they, and there you go another holiday morning planned! :)
The pattern is free but I hope you like the video instructions and come and check out my website, not the biggest site... yet... as I really believe I rather do every project well and take my time then offer 100's of projects which aren't really that great. See you here:
