You should already know how to cut measured squares/rectangles using a grid ruler and rotary cutter.
I designed this bag, because I wanted an easy way to keep my dirty clothes separate from my clean clothes in my suitcase while traveling. The "Dirty Drawers Bag" is a neat bag that has a hidden pouch inside, into which the bag folds for easy and compact packing. The bag also has a spot at the top for a clothes hanger, so you can hang the bag up in the closet to keep things tidy. This bag is really easy to make, although it helps if you already know how to install a zipper and buttonhole. YouTube is a great place to learn how to do these two things if you are not familiar with them. The pattern is written for the use of a Serger to assemble and finish all raw edges. You can easily accomplish the same result by simply using your sewing machine's zig-zag or overlock stitch to finish the edges. French Seams will also work. The pattern includes images to help you along the way. This bag also works great for packing shoes while keeping everything else clean. I would love to see pictures of your finished bags, and also hear your feedback! I hope you find this bag useful.
