So, I downloaded this pattern, went and bought the fabric necessary to make it, then printed it, put it together and then realized - this would fit perfectly on a fat quarter. I could saved a bit of money buying two fat quarters and using some ribbon as a handle instead of buying 2 - 3/4 yard pieces of fabric. :( That being said, although the written directions are a tad confusing at times, I appreciate all the pictures and I'm looking forward to putting it all together. :)

I agree with the comment about the quantity of fabric. I have enough fabric to make at least 3 of these. Very nice, easy pattern, well written.

I'm not able to download this pattern. It always says the file is damaged and can't be repaired. I really want this pattern

That error usually means an Adobe Reader problem. Do you have the most current Adobe Reader?

I made this, but the instructions were not clear. On page 5 under "Bring the Pieces Together", #3. & #4. The flap should be sewn first, then turned, pressed, then the remaining edges should be topstitched. Thanks for sharing the pattern.

Thank you for the note. Yes, that is one way to do it, but I do it all in one seam just leaving enough of an opening to turn. I guess I could draw a stitching line on the photo that goes from the red pin on the front to the other red pin on the front all the way around. Or rewrite the sewing instructions doing it your way, it sounds easier :)
