For the past few years at every faery, renaissance and fantasy festival I have attended I've seen many people wearing horned headdresses. I decided to develop my own design, one with light-weight horns made out of dupioni silk featuring an array of pretty silk flowers, leaves and ribbons.
My formula for the ram's horns is pretty simple once you understand how to apply it. You can create these curly ram's horns in a variety of sizes to fit your woodland goddesses, precious little fauns, or grown-up maenads.

I am a designer with a passion for creating fun, off-the-wall crafts. Part of my grand mission is to bring back all those musty, weird passé crafts we love to make fun of and transform them into elegant, avant-garde must-haves.
I am also the author of Micro-Macramé: 30 Beaded Designs for Jewelry Using Crystals and Cords, (St. Martin's Griffin, 2009) and one of the artists featured in Beaded Macramé Jewelry (Kalmbach, 2005).
My background in visual media, film production, and costuming has given me free rein to explore my creative talents in the art departments of several feature films and theater productions.
My crafting experience ranges from textile manipulation, including dyeing, marbling, and silk painting, to medieval illumination and bookbinding, to glassblowing, sewing costumes, and jewelry making.
