Pattern Description:

This cute and useful way of recycling and upcycling coffee bags. The vacuum packed coffee bags that we all get from the grocery store or the coffee shops, are made of laminated foil and plastic. This material is very strong and can be laminated together to form an even stronger material for these zippered pouches. The pouch can be used for change purse or even a small purse. It is especially handy when you add a grommet and key ring, then hook to a carabiner so you can hook to belt loop while jogging or walking, taking the dog for a stroll in the park. Many uses and makes a nice gift or stocking stuffer.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • adjustable

Materials:

  • One colorful coffee bag 12 oz to 16oz Thread to match or contrast with the coffee bag of your choice ( I use quilting thread that is 100% mercerized cotton) Zipper 5" length, the actual opening is 4" TIPS TO REMEMBER: GooGone removes residue from lables and markers, sometimes nail polish remover must also be used for marker writings when finger pressing to crease plastic-foil laminate material, a plastic gift card is a handy tool for creasing the material and saves your fingernails. And don't forget your own custom label to sew in to the custom made item.
