Tutorial for how to sew a lovely medium size pleated
with magnetic snap closure.
This versatile design allows combining fabrics and colors
so you can get more formal or chic everyday look.
Features step by step instructions with photos, real size
printable patterns and measurements in inches and
centimeters.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • The measurements approximately: - Strap length 20.5 inches (52cm) - The bag is 15 inches (38cm) across the widest part, 11.5 inches (29cm) across the narrowest part and 10 inches (26 cm) high.

Materials:

  • 1/2 yard (45 cm) of exterior fabric if the bag would be in one color
  • 1/4 yard (23 cm) of each fabric if the bag would be in three colors
  • 1/4 yard (23 cm) of fabric for the top panel +1/2 yard (45 cm) of fabric for the bottom panel and handle for the bag in two colors
  • 1/2 yard (45 cm) of lining fabric
  • thick vegan leather for the inside of the handle - 21 x 2 / 53 cm x 5 cm
  • magnetic snap
  • matching threads
  • 1/2 yard of interfacing (optional if exterior fabric is not rigid enough)

You Will Also Need:

  • - scissors - tailor's chalk - sewing machine - overlocking machine/ if not available could be replaced by using zigzag seam of the sewing machine - iron & board - measuring tape - pins - printer - regular printing paper - scotch tape
