Pattern Description:

Super simple, comfortable and timelessly stylish - a beret is a great winter accessory. Now you can make your own well-proportioned, well-finished berets for all occasions!

The instructions are very clear and detailed, explaining techniques and terminology for fabric hat-making.

Super-quick to make (and suitable for basic sewing skills), this beret pattern includes three sizes and three crown depths. That's 9 patterns!
You'll be able to whip up stylish berets to suit everyone!

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Small = 54cm-56cm (21-22")
  • Medium = 56cm-58cm(22-23")
  • Large = 58cm-60cm (23-24")


  • 50-55cm (20-22") soft medium-weight fabric (Eg. wool, corduroy, brushed cotton)
  • 50-55cm (20-22") lining fabric (Use only light, slippery fabric for the lining - silk, bemsilk, acetate, polyester satin - as stiffer fabrics will affect the drape of the beret.)
  • 50-60cm/20-22'' (head measurement plus 13mm / 1/2 '') of 25-30mm (1'' - 1 1/4'') wide elastic.

  • Matching threads
  • OPTIONAL: Disappearing fabric marker
