The instructions to this bag are confusing and there aren't good drawings or pictures. The pattern pieces have incorrect measurements. I wish I hadn't bothered. The designer needs to test-drive the pattern and its instructions before asking people to pay for it.

I agree about measurement issues.

Help! :) I love this bag - it looks like *exactly* what I want - but the first pattern piece isn't printing at the right size. The Main Body & Lining piece isn't matching up to the measurements it lists, nor is it matching to where it joins up with the top corner of it on the second page of pattern pieces (with the materials list).

I think I can probably draw the right size pieces based on the measurements you list but I thought you should know. (And yes, I'm printing full size - the other pieces are coming out at the measurements you list.)

Just got the new pattern download and it has everything now! Thanks so much! I shopped for fabric but ended up not buying any. I couldn't find what I thought would be perfect for this bag. I'm going to explore "painting" canvas like you did! I really like the way that looks. Thanks again!

I just bought the pattern but it has no list of materials required. Specifically I was looking for how much fabric to buy. I'm off to the store now and will buy a yard and hope it's enough. You might want to update your pattern to include the materials. The pdf I got starts with Directions on page 1.

I love this bag. I am on my third one, and I just discovered my DSLR will fit perfectly when you just don't want to carry a big old camera bag. My latest is made of embroidered silk lined with silk. Yum!!!

I want to make one out of some raw silks I have stashed, but want to work the kinks out because the pattern is not true to measurements and I had to fix that on the first try. I confirm with Puni, it is a great little bag idea with lots of potential.
