3/4 ABOUT THIS PROJECT: This sweet purse is great for showcasing your favorite new fabric! It includes instructions for a patch pocket or hidden zipper pocket - you get to make it the way you want it! Great for matching mother/daughter bags. Designed for sewers with basic to advanced sewing skills. I have included instructions for use with a rotary cutter, or you can make a pattern easily using pattern paper.
3/4 SUPPLIES NEEDED:
Kid's Size
1/3 yard of focus fabric (used to make body & strap)
1/4 yard coordinating fabric (used to make the top & bottom sections of the bag's exterior)
1/2 yard lining fabric
3/4 yard 44/45" wide fusible fleece interfacing (I like Pellon brand #987)
magnetic snap closure - optional - (you can find these in the bag making section of your fabric store)
9" or longer zipper - optional; purchase only if you plan to make a zipper pocket in the lining
coordinating thread
sewing gauge
Adult's Size
1 yard of focus fabric (used to make the poufy part of the bag and the strap)
1/3 yard coordinating fabric (used to make the top and bottom of your bag's exterior)
