Take the little wristlet to the beach or the gym or just for a walk around the block. When a big purse is just not an option and all you want is just a slight little purse, Little Gems might be the answer.
Little Gems has *two closing pockets for coins or jewelry *plus 2 card holders (each holds 4 cards, total of 8), *a hands free wristlet strap, and a* lobster claw clasp to hold your keys. One magnetic snap keeps the purse securely closed. The little compact purse is only 4 1/2" x 6 1/2" x 1". Big enough for essentials, small enough to toss in a big purse.
Little Gems' Little Sister is a simpler version of Little Gems. Fabulously easy to sew. One main pattern piece fashioned to fold into a pouch. The pouch closes securely with a narrow Velcro strip, plus it has a hands free wristlet strap, and a lobster claw clasp to hold keys, with a magnetic snap closure.
Tuck a little gift card inside and give it as a gift. It takes no time to make one. No Kidding! Little Sister is only 4 1/2" x 6 1/2".

I rise early in the morning and go down late in the evening. My desire between waking and sleeping is to make things pretty or make pretty things! I have been in secondary education for twenty years teaching high school art, helping young adults recognize their creative nature or trying to help them develop one. I thought I had given up sewing when my little ones grew too big to applique their clothes and make cutesy clothes for them. I rediscovered that love of creative sewing one summer two or three summers back when I wandered into a quilt shop with my sister (the queen bee of quilting) and saw a little clutch purse pattern that looked too simple not to make. I was hooked! The rest of the summer I was designing purses and have been doing so every since.View all patterns by designer (42) »
