Pattern Description:

This sewing pattern will help you create a sturdy, padded, comfortable-to-hold book style case for yourself, or to give as gifts. Case has an inside pocket for reader to be stored. Ribbon corners hold it in place for reading, and case can fold back on itself to, as shown in last photo. The VELCRO tab folds back to attach to VELCRO piece on cover. Inside there is a large pockets and additional pockets perfect for library cards, ID, credit cards, gift cards, etc. Back of case has an additional pocket as well. Case is made with easy-to-find materials at your local craft/fabric store.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Fits most readers 6 1/2" x 4 1/2" up to 6 7/8" x 5"

  • Fat Quarter companion fabric
  • Hook and Loop tape
  • 1 yd. grosgrain ribbon
  • 1/4 yd Peltex interfacing
  • thread
  • Fat Quarter Fusible Fleece Intefacing
  • OPTIONAL button/ magnetic snap/heavy duty snap to replace hook and loop tape
