Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Technique used is fusible and machine appliqu with satin stitch.

Pattern Description:

Vermont License Plate Block

Finished size of this block is 6.5" x 12.5".
Technique used is fusible and machine appliqu with satin stitch.
All pattern pieces are reversed for application to fusible webbing. They will be right-side up when the fabric is placed on the 'plate'.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 6.5" x 12.5"


  • Clothworks AMB cotton solids
  • Fusible webbing
  • Thread to match fabric colors

You Will Also Need:

  • The largest piece required is 13"x7" for letters, sky, mountains and field; also frame of plate. Remaining items can be made from scraps.
