Pattern Description:

This patriotic quilt uses the simplest element of the Cathedral Window technique I developed in 1998. The red chains use bias folds that are rolled and stitched at the quilting stage. It is done by machine in this pattern but hand stitching could easily be substituted. The blue stars use the stitch and flip method on the end of sashing strips to make the points.

I found a white on white stripe and a white on white star print for the two whites.

This is a simple and fun quilt. Enjoy!
