This is a four leaf clover, not a shamrock.

OK maybe it should say "Lucky Shamrock" as most shamrocks are of three petal: but a lucky on is referred to as a lucky four leaf clover, ie; shamrock. What an amazing world we live in filled with fun and great horizons.

As SewGreen said on 3/7/12 this pattern is not a shamrock. The shamrock has 3 leaves and one stem and was used by St. Patrick to explain the concept of the Trinity. Please put the correct title on the pattern.

But as believers we know there are some nonbelievers we need to caress and love. They named their block, it is their block (and a beautiful one at that) and I for one appreciate the effort and love the quilter put into their block. It is a block, with a name selected by the designer. Quilters need to encourage each other rather than knock them so as to encourage the craft into the future.
