This listing is for the Salmon block only. This lovely block is just perfect for all outdoor lovers and fishermen! It can be a sockeye salmon in red, or just a blue salmon, as you wish. You can secretly sew a wonderful quilt for your man while he is gone fishing, or create some lovely cushions for your RV, seat mats for your camping trailer, or sew the perfect wall hanging for a cabin or a retreat cottage. For many summer sewing projects that smell pine forest and BBQ, and to add a wilderness taste in your home, just follow your imagination !
This lovely block is part of a set of 7 blocks (a tent, a cute trailer, a moose, a campfire, a salmon, a lantern and a jolly red canoe). The Set as well as all the separated blocks are also available in my shop.
This PDF pattern includes clearly labeled paper piecing pattern sections, clear color charts and comprehensive instructions to sew the block in a range of sizes with a size chart to reduce or enlarge each block pattern from 10" to 8" or 12 ".
This pattern does not contains basic paper piecing instructions. If you are a beginner, you can find a good tutorial + useful tips on my blog to learn the technic: http://www.bubblestitchquilts.blogspot.com

I am a swiss crafter living in Canada, mom of 2 wonderful little boys. For the past 3 years, creating patterns and sewing have been my main activities. I particularly love sewing, quilting, drawing , soapmaking and flutemaking. I have built a soap company (Wild and Wise), have wrote 2 books about natural cosmetics. Walking in the forest, on the beach and watching my sons playing are my favorite ways to find inspiration for my next quilt or block pattern. You can follow my creations on my blog (bubblestitchquilts.blogspot.com). Last but not least, I think the best things we can do in our life are those done with love, and we should put love in everything. So, if you read this, receive my love!!!!
