HELP, I have never converted a pattern! I know how to download, then it states one inch. But do I trace the pattern? How do I convert it to the fabric? I want to quilt it for my son who is a hunter? Any help you can give me will be appreciated...Virginia

Hi Virginia, I just saw your comment now. Did you manage to sew it? It's a foundation pieced pattern, so what you need to do is to cut out all the paper templates and then sew the pieces according to the rules of foundation piecing (there are several tutorial on youtube and blogs on paper piecing and foundation piecing)

I love all these blocks!! But isn't this one more of a 'bugling elk' than a 'roaring deer'? :-)

Now that I look online you are probbaly right. In Europe we have only deers I didn't even thought about elk. Thank you for noticing the difference!
