It all began with a Google Image search that led me to the Legend of Zelda patterns on Sewhooked (now FandomInStitches.com). I thought all of the blocks were so cool - Zelda, Harry Potter, etc - but had only seen my mom do traditional piecing, so I didn't know that paper piecing makes tiny, intricate patterns easy. A few months later, I was making a fabric yo-yo project for Mom and thought about expanding my sewing abilities. I returned to sewhooked, read her tutorials, bought some fabric, and made a Triforce. I immediately began designing my own patterns while working though dozens of the available HP patterns. I love being a part of the online fandom quilting community!View all patterns by designer (30) »
This pattern includes both a left-hand and right-hand version - they can be combined to make a full rainbow. Not as awesome as a Double Rainbow, but still pretty ;-)
The pattern is full-color and clearly numbered/lettered.
Basic paper-piecing instructions are not included. There are many great print and video tutorials available online!
This pattern is for personal and non-profit use only.
For each pattern sold I am donating $1 to Blood:Water Mission, a grassroots organization that works alongside African communities to improve access to clean water and medical care. You can read more about them at http://www.bloodwatermission.com/
