I love buying fabric, yarns and all sorts of interesting craft items. Pattern making gives me an excuse to keep adding to my stash, as I "need" a good selection to make my samples with. When I'm not making patterns of one kind or another, I enjoy weaving, drawing and writing, and playing with my dogs. Occasionally I like to make a large batch of a few of my favorite pattern items and take them to a few local craft fairs. Always fun to meet new people!View all patterns by designer (48) »
Brown bagging it for lunch might be a great money saver, but who says you have to be bland about it? Make yourself one of these great little bags and matching beverage cozy and you can dine in style! Both bag and cozy have three layers of insulating cotton or thermal batting to keep things fresh. Bag is 6 inches wide and 3 inches deep and 7 inches high, so there's plenty of room for a good-sized meal, including a plastic container or two. Bag has two roomy pockets, one on the inside and one on the outside, to hold napkins, condiments, or even a little cash for the vending machines. Cozy can be made to fit cans or water bottles, and no coasters are needed when you have one of these around your beverage.
No piecing is required to make this set - you quilt your whole pieces of fabric together then cut out and assemble a few simple shapes. Add a closure of your choice and you are ready to go.
Pattern has complete easy to follow, step-by-step illustrated instructions, so all you'll need is basic sewing and quilting skills.
