Basic Skills Necessary:

  • You should already know how to cut fabric and iron. :)

Pattern Description:

This peacock feather table runner is a fun quilting block project.

Scraps can be used or you can use materials that we have suggested. Our suggested material amounts are an over-exaggeration, so if you make a mistake you always have more fabric to work with.

Our pattern makes a 6x6 inch quilting block with a 1/4 inch grace allowance that can be assembled to make a table runner.

This way you can make any size quilt you desire within 6 inch increments of your desired result.

The table runner will be a finished size of 18.5 x 42.5 inches.

Our directions will walk you through the whole process of using our pattern to make this beautiful quilting block and table runner.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Finished quilting block is 6x6 inches with a 1/4 inch grace allowance for piecing. Finished table runner is 18.5 x 42.5 inches.

Materials:

  • Fabric in 6 different colors (1/4 yard each prefered, but less will be used) or scraps for blocks.
  • Fabric in 2 colors for boarders (1 yard each for pieced borders)

You Will Also Need:

  • Printer
  • Paper
  • Scissors
  • Iron
  • Fine tip pen
  • Needle and thread/sewing machine (optional)
  • Template plastic (optional)
