Basic Skills Necessary:

  • This pattern requires a small amount of applique knowledge and piecing skills. The instructions for the Applique method used are included in the pattern

Pattern Description:

Lilly's Table Mat would make a lovely wall hanging, table mat, or a gift for a special friend. This beautiful applique design has been done with the invisible turned edge method to give it a hand appliqued look, the instructions for this method are provided in the pattern.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 28 inches x 28 inches


  • Requirements List Background fabric for Applique block: Four 13 inch squares (neutral tone on tone fabrics.) Borders: 1/2 meter (Blue Floral Fabric) Applique? fabrics: Seven fat eights of various coloured fabrics. (Three Reds,Two Blues,One Green,One Brown) Stems light brown approx twelve inch square Binding 1/4 meter General Sewing Supplies Sewing machine in good working order.

You Will Also Need:

  • Freezer Paper
  • Small iron
  • Awl
  • Spray Starch
  • Thread for applique and piecing
