Pattern Description:

This is a combination pattern of both the Flowering Lone Star and Bursting Lone Stars patterns. Bursting Lone Stars was originally designed as a backing for the Flowering Lone Star pattern.

The pattern contains 52 color photographs along with detailed step by step cutting and assembly instructions. You can choose to use the same fabrics for the front and the back or mix it up. Both patterns are very versatile in that they can be made in either the traditional or modern style.

  • Background Fabric - 2 yards - Bursting Lone Stars
  • Background Fabric - 2.5 yards - Flowering Lone Star
  • Binding 1/2 yard
  • Center Star Fabrics - 4 prints - 1 fat quarter per print - Flowering Lone Star
  • Outer Star Fabrics - 6 prints (or as many prints as desired) - 6 fat quarters - Flowering Lone Star
  • Small Stars - 4 prints - 1 Strip per print - 2.5" x WOF - Bursting Lone Stars
  • Large Stars - 6 prints - 1 strip per print - 3 7/8" x WOF - Bursting Lone Stars

You Will Also Need:

  • Blue Painters Tape
  • Removable marking pen such as a mark-b-gone
  • Ruler: measuring 6.5" x 24.5"
  • Spray Starch
  • Rotary Cutter
