This cute little paper pieced Daffodil (or Narcissus) quilt block works up quickly because it's only one foundation pattern unit - really! Perfect for your floral sampler quilt or maybe a springtime pillow cover. It's a good second or third block for paper piecing beginners because it contains some unusually shaped pieces without being too complicated to sew.
The Daffodil quilt block pattern includes directions and marked foundation patterns for both the left- and right-facing blossoms, You can easily resize the 6" foundation units to whatever size you need using the table of enlarging/reducing percentages included.
Please note that basic paper piecing instructions are not included. This free pattern is meant for personal use only, not to make items to sell.
I LOVE to do this daffodil. It was my very first paper piece and I think I've pretty much mastered it now. (I've done about 6-7 of these so far.)
:D thank you! It really did help me get the hang and learn all about paper piecing! I thank my mother and sister for helping me too. Without them I would have never gotten it! haha

Thank you for such a pretty pattern and memories to last a lifetime. My sister and I are beginners. My mother taught my sister and I how to paper piece last weekend and its the best thing since sliced bread! haha I added special instructions for the beginner paper piercers like myself.
