(from the introduction):
This little project began as a simple quilt pattern.... But then more and more ideas evolved until it became a 56 page book! But such is the way with creativity- it feeds upon itself and gathers momentum if we will give it a chance!

While a child's play may be their temporary vocation, we as adults need to have fun too! I think it is our responsibility to ourselves (and to those who have to live with us!) to find enjoyment and fun in life, in whatever form that might take. If you are reading this, then you probably find enjoyment in the creative process- making things for yourself and for others, simply for the relaxation of the creative process and for the satisfaction that the finished product brings.

In this book there are lots of ways to feed your creativity- and your family, too! You will find several sewing projects such as quilts, stuffed animals, and a useful tote bag. There are several activities and crafts for the kids- now more than ever it is crucial for them to get away from the "screen" and nurture their creative muscles. Finally, kid friendly recipes need to fit a few criteria- they have to be fairly healthy, they have to be simple enough so the kids can help out in the kitchen, and of course, they have to be tasty!

I hope you enjoy this book as much as I have enjoyed putting it together.

  • Basic sewing supplies: sewing machine, scissors, etc.
