I designed this pattern to characterize the love of children today. It's a contemporary silhouette art quilt pattern. This pattern is designed for ease and enjoyment. Simply create the silhouette skin-tone to your liking and accessorize to your satisfaction.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • The measurements are based on enlarging the pattern to its actual size, approximately (11 L x 10.5 W). When the pattern is downloaded the measurements will be smaller, approximately (8 1/4 L x 7 1/4 W). You may enlarge the pattern to its actual size or use the pattern at the smaller size.

Materials:

  • 15 x 15 inch square of fabric for background
  • 12 x 12 inch square of fabric for figure skin-tone
  • 2 (8 x 8) inch squares of fabric for clothing, shoes, and barrettes
  • 4 x 4 inch square of fabric for hair
  • 10 x 10 inch square of fabric for mini quilt
  • 1.5 inch strips of fabric for borders
  • 20 x 20 inch square of fabric for backing
  • 20 x 20 inch square of cotton or polyester batting
  • 2.5 strips of fabric for binding
  • Fusible Web (your choice) for applique

You Will Also Need:

  • Basic sewing supplies including small scissors
