(7) Name: 'Quilting : Ziggy

Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Basic quilting/sewing knowledge
  • Trimming uneven quilt edges
  • Sewing bias edges

Pattern Description:

I wanted to create a design that used limited numbers of fabrics, but was very versatile in who it could be made for. The change of color completely alters the look of this quilt. It can be made for a pre-teen girl or a young man on his way to college! And relatively easy to make!! What more could you want?

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 68" x 85" ( generous twin)


  • 2 5/8 yds for background (cream)
  • 2 1/2 yds for the "poles" (Brown)
  • 2 1/2 yds for the zig-zags (blue)
  • 5 1/2 yds for the backing
  • 74" x 94" batting

You Will Also Need:

  • Thread
  • Normal cutting, ironing and pieces equipment
