Hands gently hold these woven ribbons around a heart
Step by step photographic tutorial will guide you to make this beautiful wall hanging. It's wonderful for a wedding, a friend, a healing quilt, a church, family or yourself.

Linda is a national and international instructor who teaches her glue stick/freezer paper applique to eager students wanting to learn her easy way to achieve success. Her classes and pattern give you the option to use freezer paper or a water soluble stabilizer as well as giving you the choice to applique using your favorite method.

The Woven Heart Quilt's interpretation is endless.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Background: Cut larger and trim to: 19.5" x 19.5" light colored fabric Hand: 15" x 15" Flesh color Heart 9" x 9" light Pink Ribbons Large Scraps of different colored fabric Bias Tape: 50" of bias tape Circle: 18" x 18" Medium or Dark fabric Lightweight fusible interfacing: 18" x 18"

You Will Also Need:

  • 1 water soluble glue-stick Pencil Toothpicks Wash Away Appliqu Sheets Notebook size cardboard for gluing surface. Thread to match your fabrics Lightweight fusible interfacing Bias Tape Paper scissors, fabric scissors Iron and Ironing surface Your basic sewing supplies Pre-moistened wash cloth inside a baggie to keep fingers clean
