I love the woods and the black bear. I designed this applique for the shower curtain in my woodland bathroom because I could not find any that I liked. However, I thought it would be great to start with a small size on grid paper so that it could be added to smaller projects like pillows, wall hangings, or even a quilt. With the grid it is possible to enlarge the pattern. This pattern set comes with directions for enlarging the design to whatever size you would like to use.

My name is Angela, and I have been crafting since I was a little girl. I learned how to sew, knit, embroider, draw, paint, woodwork, and more. I would create with anything I could get my hands on. Often, raw materials or objects would become the start of project ideas for me. I remember moss from a camping trip becoming a barbie wig, and reeds from the field being woven into a place mat.
As my skills grew, I began to design my own projects and patterns to stitch and sew. I entered some of my designs into the county fair and some others into a high school contest and won several ribbons each time.
As an adult, my husband suggested that we start a craft site on the internet back in 1998 and AOK Corral was born. I began creating a project / pattern for the website each month. Today we have over 150 projects / patterns available on our website for free and for sale. I still enjoy learning new skills and exploring and designing each new project idea that comes to mind.
