Basic Skills Necessary:

  • sew on a machine
  • cut fabric

Pattern Description:

I wanted to design a beginners pattern that is not only simple to make, but looks a bit difficult. Using pre-cut fabric jelly rolls makes the whole process that much simpler.

Instructions include fabric estimations and instructions for a lap quilt, twin, double, queen and king size.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 40 inches x 52 inches


  • 2 ea. 20 strip Jelly Rolls
  • 2 yards fabric for backing
  • batting

You Will Also Need:

  • sewing machine
  • thread
  • ruler
  • rotary cutter
  • iron
