Pattern Description:
My husband asked me to make a simple USMC banner. I added dog tags to give it a little personality, but kept it simple as he requested.
After I completed it, he remarked that I could use real dog tags on the next one... I guess that is a hint!
I hope you will enjoy making this to honor the Marines in your life.
*** Note *** I DO NOT do turned edge applique. This pattern is for fusible applique. The pattern pieces ARE NOT blown out of the drawing.
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- 20" x 37"
Materials:
- 20x37 inches red felt
- 20 x 37 inches fusible fleece for backing
- 3 inches x 120 inches gold felt for border
- 28 inches x 10 inches gold felt for letters
- 3 shades of blue, scraps for dog tags
- 36" dowel rod
- 4" x 18" scrap material for hanging tube
