Patchwork quilt pattern with four patchwork blocks and a vase of flowers bordered by 'flying geese' patchwork. Fusible applique is used and the appliques are finished with hand or machine blanket stitch. Complete instructions are included.
This patchwork quilt is excellent for beginners or if you want to brush up on the basics. I designed this quilt to teach my daughter the basic skills to do template free patchwork, fusible applique, machine blanket stitch, quilting and binding. We machine quilted on our domestic sewing machine, however there is some beautiful quilting being done these days commercially.
This quilt was published in Australian Quilters Companion. I have pleasure in offering it as an instant download.
SALE!!! Cushions, Table Runners, Snack Mats over Christmas New Year.
In the late 70's I discovered patchwork. It has been a wonderful journey learning the many different techniques and making dozens of quilts. Over the last decade I have had many of my designs published in Australian Quilt & Craft magazines. I hope that you enjoy making my wide range of patterns.
