Pattern Description:

Impress your friends with this stunning quilt, but don't let them know how easy it is to make! This dynamic quilt uses 3D flying geese with rolled back bias edges to create curves with no curved piecing. Create a medallion style quilt or let the blocks spin and turn for a completely different look. Batiks are recommended for this project.

  • Fat quarter gold 1 (lightest)
  • 3/8 yd gold 2
  • 5/8 yd gold 3
  • 5/8 yd gold 4
  • 3/8 yd gold 5
  • Fat quarter gold 6 (darkest)
  • Fat quarter brown 1 (lightest)
  • 1/2 yd brown 2
  • 3/4 yd brown 3
  • 1/2 yd brown 4
  • Fat quarter brown 5 (darkest)
  • 2 yds green
  • 1 1/4 yd total varying browns for pieced border or
  • 1 1/4 yd border fabric for solid border
  • 1/2 yd binding fabric
  • 3 7/8 yd backing

You Will Also Need:

  • Twin size batting
  • Neutral 100% cotton sewing thread
  • Rotary cutter and ruler, 12 1/2" ruler
  • Quilting threads to match fabrics
