Pattern Description:

This pattern uses two different decorative rotary blades to give it pizzazz and sizzle. It is easy to make and fun to do.
It is all RAW edged fused and machine quilted. This is the perfect project to take to the cabin this summer and have fun on a rainy day.

Materials:

  • 3/4 yard blue/aqua fabric for background n 1 fat quarter yellow fabric for petals and several shades of yellow for dots inside seed circles n 1 fat quarter yellow-orange gradation fabric for shadow behind petals n 1/2 yard orange fabric for first circle of sunflower seeds n 1/2 yard rust fabric for second circle of sunflower seeds - also for outside triangles n 1/2 yard dark orange fabric for third circle of sunflower seeds n 1 fat quarter green fabric for stems and leaves n 1 fat quarter light green fabric for shadow behind leaves and squiggle down center of stems n 3 yards WONDERUNDER(r) fusible web n 3/4 yard of backing fabric n Batting n Quilting thread

You Will Also Need:

  • Rotary cutter (45mm) with wavy and pinking blades and mat n Sharp embroidery scissors n Mechanical pencil n Sharpie(r) extra-fine marker n Iron
