I've always enjoyed crafting and being creative. I've tried my hand at many crafts, including crocheting, embroidery, sewing, quilting, jewelry making and paper crafting, just to name a few. Recently, I started designing my own mug rug patterns. I'm completely obsessed with these little pieces of art. They require very little time and investment in materials, but each one offers a tremendous feeling of accomplishment and satisfaction. You'll find one in just about every room in my home. I hope you'll give one a try.
With a little fabric and a bit of fusible web, you'll be able to recreate a wonderful childhood memory of building sand castles on the beach. But this pretty Sand Castle won't wash away as the quilted waves crash along the shore.
The Summer Sand Castle Mug Rug pattern includes step by step instructions, list of materials needed, full size placement guide and templates with easy to follow cutting and sewing instructions on how to create a simple pieced mug rug top, applique, mitered corners, flat piping and binding too.
If you're not comfortable with creating mitered corners and binding just yet, I've also included an easy No binding method, Perfect for Beginners.
As with all my patterns, you'll receive my direct email so that you may contact me if you have any questions along the way. And, please don't hesitate, I'm more than happy to help.
