Two great women were a major influence in my creative life. My Greatgrandmother and my Mother taught me to sew, knit, crochet, and tat. I am the only quilter in my family and am self taught. Over the years I became interested in pattern design and started writing quilt patterns. I now design quilt patterns which I offer to you to enjoy. I love what I am doing and I hope you enjoy my work.View all patterns by designer (19) »
This is an easy to piece quilt using 9 Patch blocks and strips.
The pattern is for a lap size but eliminate the border and it is then the perfect crib quilt size.
55 x 64 inches with the border
45 x 54 inches without the border.
1/4 or 1/2 yard cuts.
The border (which is optional) requires 2 yards.
The backing 4 yards with the border, 3 yards without the border.
The fabrics in the pictures are Fall fabrics and Civil War Fabrics but this quilt looks great in any fabric combination. Bright flowers, 1930's, Baby Fabrics, Calicoes all work well, the possibilities are endless.
This pattern uses a combination of 5 blocks. There is a nine patch, 4 patch, single block, nine patch with sashing, and a 1 block with sashing.
