Pattern Description:

Based on the quilt pattern this Sparkling Stars this Table Runner or Wall Hanging uses narrower sashing and smaller stars. The design uses the simplest element of the Cathedral Window technique I developed in 1998. The red chains use bias folds that are rolled and stitched at the quilting stage. It is done by machine in this pattern but hand stitching could easily be substituted. The blue stars use the stitch and flip method on the end of sashing strips to make the points. Look for Christmas fabric lines for the Gold Stripe and Gold Stars on off white cotton.
