I love Santa! I have many, many Santas in my house at Christmas and this runner adds another one. He's a quirky Santa full of the fun and surprise of Christmas surrounded by Christmas trees. I love applique. The nuns who taught at my school insisted on the neatest most even stitches and I have carried their lessons with me and love hand applique the best. Watching the fabric pictures come to life is a joy.
Quilting came about from a picture on a quilting magazine that I thought was really beautiful and from that moment I was hooked. Here was a hobby that combined my love of fabric and sewing and the possibilities are truly endless!
