Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Using a sewing machine, fusible web, and rotary cutting

Pattern Description:

Make this adorable baby quilt using large fusible safari animal shapes and large pieced rectangles for the blocks.
To make a boy's version, use black stripes in the zebra and change the lavender prints to blue prints.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Baby quilt size: 36" x 38"


  • 1 fat quarter each of 2 yellow prints, 1 fat quarter each of 2 green prints, 1 fat quarter each of lavender, tan, brown, gray tonals, 1/2 yard lavender border, 3/8 yard white solid, 1/2 yard green stripe (includes binding), 1/8 yard each of parrot green, yellow, pink, black, orange, and light blue.

You Will Also Need:

  • 1 1/2 yards fusible web, batting, black permanent pen, thread for finishing shape edges
