Roadrunner Applique Block (New Mexico)
Roadrunner Applique Block (New Mexico)

Pattern Description:

State bird of New Mexico. This block is part of my quilt "Symbols of Our Unity". I must admit, the first time I ever saw a roadrunner, I was disappointed it wasn't as big and colorful as the cartoon image, but it is exciting to see them dart full speed across the road.

Make this block for yourself or a loved one who lives in New Mexico or anywhere in the southwest where the bird is prevalent.

Please visit my website to see the entire quilt. www.artbyalexa.com.

As always, I am readily accessible by email if you need help with your stitching. alexandra@att.net

Happy Stitching,
